Mother's Day

May 10, 2015
My first 'real' Mother's Day was so great! It started off with Scott not feeling so good so I went to church with chloe and they gave all the ladies a bag with some candy and hand lotion and a nice book.  It was so sweet of them.  Then after church I came home and Scott gave me some chocolates from See's Candy (which are the bestest ever!) and a homemade card.  He is seriously so sweet.

Later we headed over to Aunt Sue's for dinner.  It was so fun to catch up with cousins and just hang out and eat some good food!

Chloe and Mikayla (I am not sure if I spelt that right... sorry Chelsie!) had so much hanging out with each other, or at least staring at each other.  It's so fun to have cousins who live so close.

I feel so lucky to be a Mom.  It has been such an amazing growing experience for me.  I have learned so much about patience and love.  I never knew how much I could love someone until I had Chloe.  She is seriously just a little ray of sunshine, so pure and so sweet.  She is my little angel and I love her. She made me a mommy and I am so lucky that she is mine. I am so glad that I had such an amazing mom growing up, someone I can still look to as a good example of the Mom I want to strive to be everyday.  I am still learning and am nowhere near perfect but I am taking it one day at a time.  I love being a Mom.   <3

Payson Temple Open House

Wow I haven't updated this blog in forever! So I am going to be doing TONS of catch up posts.  So here goes nothing...

May 7, 2015
Today was a really special day! The Payson Temple's open house is going on so Scott, Me, Chloe, Kelly, and Nate all drove down to Payson together to go through the temple.  Thankfully the weather was beautiful and the drive went by really quick.  Chloe slept most the way, gosh she is such a good baby in the car.
We were kinda nervous about taking Chloe through the open house because she likes to spit up so we brought our handy dandy burp cloth with us and it was a good thing we did because spit up she did, in practically every room.  We had fed her right before the open house... ya that probably was not the best idea.  Oh well, you live and learn.  It was really neat to take her through the temple though and stand with her and Scott in the Celestial room.  I love my little family so much.  I am so glad I get to spend forever with them.
The Payson temple was absolutely beautiful! Their main thing down their is the apple orchards so they incorporated that into the stained glass windows and it was so pretty!
Thanks so much Nate & Kelly for going with us!
